Hey, people … have you ever had a craving for creamed spinach?

I love weekends because Sam and I get TWO WHOLE DAYS without any invited (or uninvited) visitors or irritating interruptions. These would include: 1) hospice nurses or nurse’s aides; 2) a medical professional of any kind; 3) a pharmacy delivery that isn’t Hydrocodone; and 4) a UPS dude who rings the doorbell.

Today’s free fonts are a little unusual, even for me. This time they’re all DINGBATS fonts — 14 of them! — and because I wanted to make the samples large enough for you I had to organize them in a single vertical row, split into groups of seven with download links after each group. (You’ll figure it out.) My personal favorites are “Mr. Men,” “Faces” and “Happy Monsters.” Enjoy!

Hey, people … have you ever had a craving for creamed spinach? Tonight I asked Sam to make some for me with an 88¢ bag of frozen chopped spinach mixed up with a cup of Thrive Life instant Béchamel Sauce. I figured it would have to be absolutely terrific, since the sloppy Joes he made for me a couple of days ago (with a can of Manwich and Thrive Life’s Beef Textured Vegetable Protein) were excellent. You’d never know the TVP wasn’t real ground beef, and the leftovers were even better … so how could the Béchamel Sauce not be just as good?

Man, was I ever WRONG … because I never anticipated that Thrive Life would fuck up the seasonings. Not in a million years! I took one forkful of Sam’s creamed spinach and promptly spit it out.

Buried in the list of ingredients was a tiny little word that ruined everything: GARLIC. I hate garlic! Why in hell would Thrive Life add garlic to a traditional white sauce?! I couldn’t eat the creamed spinach, and I’m so disgusted I want to scream at people. I hope Thrive Life issues refunds, because I plan to ask for one when their customer service department opens on Monday. I want my money back!

To cheer myself up in the meantime I’m working on a new grocery pickup order from Wal-Mart featuring a bunch of extremely exciting products. These include:
