This has been an amazing day for free fonts, mostly because I’ve got a swell herd of fabulous layered fonts for you … six of them! Today’s list also includes wonderful display fonts (“Versica,” “Analeigh,” “Banana Pancakes”), pretty scripts (“Spalding,” “Julietta”) and hand-drawn fonts (“Sourwood”). I’ll include download links after the font list, okay?
But wait … there’s more! In addition to the swell new fonts pictured above, I’ve also got an interesting collection of new dingbats fonts for you. I love these, especially “Bat Fight,” “MF-26 Banners” and “Woman Faces.” Download links appear below, too. Enjoy!
Thought you might like to see a couple of terrific collections of high-resolution digital images that I bought a few minutes ago on Etsy. On sale, naturally.
I can’t wait to use them for iPhone cases. throw pillows and greeting cards that I’ll sell from The Howdygram Store.
It’s a nice, quiet Thursday night here. I’ve been having some lousy body temperature swings for the last few hours (hot and cold, hot and cold, hot and cold … you get my drift) and finally just kicked off my blanket to try and get comfortable. It’s not working, though, because I still feel like crap. I’m not really in any pain, mind you … just miserable! To help, Sam just slapped a cold wet rag on my head. Blecch.

I’ve been amusing myself with various movies and TV entertainment tonight. Sam and I watched Death at a Funeral (2007) starring Matthew Macfadyen and Keeley Hawes, the last half of Wee Willie Winkie (1937) starring Shirley Temple and C. Aubrey Smith, On with the Show (1929) a very early talkie starring Joe E. Brown, and several “Bar Rescue” reruns. I may have to ask for a snack now and watch another movie (I can’t eat when I’m typing) … possibly our old favorite standby, Panic in the Streets (1951) starring Richard Widmark and Paul Douglas, the story of a police captain and public health official who race against the clock to stop an epidemic of pneumonic plague in New Orleans. This is especially meaningful right now … think COVID-19!
Night-night y’all, and thank you for reading this. If you feel like remembering the Alamo, just get it done and move on, okay?
