I’ve got all 16 “Andy Hardy” movies stored on our DVR.

Yo. It’s me again. It’s the middle of the night — not quite 4 a.m. — and I don’t feel much like sleeping right now. That’s not exactly weird, to tell you the truth, because for most of my life I’ve always enjoyed productive explosions of creative energy while the rest of the world sleeps. In the past I produced newsletters, designed websites, ran my own chocolate company, authored a cookbook, started a memoir … and so on. These days, though, I use my nocturnal bursts of creativity to write the Howdygram and design attractive whatnots for The Howdygram Store, proving that life can be fine if you try hard enough … even for an occasionally-miserable, bedridden old coot like yours truly.

Surprise … more free fonts! There are several unusual entries today, including all kinds of interesting scripts (“Maison,” “Dalechampia,” “Andara Script”), a quirky hand-drawn font (“Haunted House”) and a fabulous font bundle loaded with 29 excellent scripts and one or two sans serif fonts. I’ll include download links below the font list. Enjoy …

I’ve been having a hard time today with my body temperature. A couple of hours ago I was shivering and running a low-grade fever; now I’m so hot and clammy it’s like laying on a bed of live coals. This happens all the damn time. and I know I drive Sam crazy. Right now I’m so uncomfortable that I just peeled off my fleece blanket to cool down a little. I actually might accidentally pour iced tea over my head. (Shhh. Don’t tell anybody.)

To distract myself I’ve been designing more iPhone cases for The Howdygram Store and watching a few favorite movies. So far my movie list includes: Wee Willie Winkie (1937) starring Shirley Temple, Cesar Romero and C. Aubrey Smith; Hans Christian Andersen (1952) starring Danny Kaye; and Saratoga (1937) starring Jean Harlow and Clark Gable.

After I rest my brain for a while I’d like to get back to binge-watching three years of “Bar Rescue” reruns. I’ve got about 40 of them stored on our DVR right now. (If you’ve never watched “Bar Rescue,” you have no idea what you’re missing.)

I wanted to post a few of those new iPhone cases I’ve been working on, but there’s a temporary glitch on Blogger tonight that won’t let me upload any additional photos to my post … so this will have to wait until tomorrow, I guess. Therefore I’ll sign off for now and move along to an Andy Hardy movie starring Mickey Rooney. (I’ve got all 16 Andy Hardy movies stored on our DVR.)

Thank you for reading this. Remember the Alamo if you have a free minute, okay?
