About five years ago Sam and I decided to splurge on our ritzy, custom-made leather sectional — the style is called “Maxwell” — from The Leather Sofa Company in north Dallas. We picked an Italian top grain taupe-colored leather and top-of-the-line cushion stuffing with goose down and a high-resiliance foam core … a combination that includes a 15-year life span guarantee. Woo-hoo! In case you’re interested, here’s a photo of the “Maxwell” sectional. (This isn’t our color, of course, but it’s the same sofa.)
Sam doesn’t know it yet, but I just placed an online Wal-Mart grocery order for pickup at noon today. This time I’m trying a pile of fabulous new frozen goodies … everything from Korean-style Steak Bulgogi & Udon Noodles to Japanese mochi ice cream in two flavors (strawberry and mango). Here’s a list of the new foods in today’s order. (Great Value is Wal-Mart’s store brand.)
- TYSON BLACKENED CHICKEN BREAST STRIPS. No breading, no batter, no carbs … just 100% spicy chicken to perk up my pathetic taste buds. I just wish the picture on the package didn’t make this stuff look like doody.
- GREAT VALUE BEEF POT ROAST. With real pot roast vegetables (carrots! celery! potatoes!) and real pot roast gravy. And it’s even microwaveable.
- HOST & PLATTER CHICKEN & MOLE MINI EMPANADAS. These look amazing. And I think Sam will like them, too.
- REALGOOD ITALIAN LOW-CARB SPICY ITALIAN SAUSAGE MANICOTTI. There’s no pasta in these at all … they use pounded chicken and parmesan cheese to make the roll-up shell!
- MY/MO MOCHI ICE CREAM. I ordered two flavors … strawberry and mango. If you’ve never tried mochi, you’re missing a unique Japanese dessert treat.
- GREAT VALUE KOREAN STEAK BULGOGI & UDON NOODLES. I tried this Korean entrée a couple of days ago, and it was OUTSTANDING. Spicy and loaded with flavor.
- STREATERY MEMPHIS-STYLE BBQ PORK BISCUITS. If these are half as good as the picture on the box, I’m having a foodgasm. Look at those little stuffed biscuits!
- HAPPI FOODI BEEF BRISKET STREET TACOS. These look amazing, too. I’m really anxious to try them.
I’ve got a nice collection of free fonts for you tonight … hand-drawn fonts (“Friendly Cactus,” “Club Style”), display fonts (“Willie,” “Hellow Knight”) and two layered scripts (“Jacktro,” “Spagheti”). I’m excited about all of them! Download links appear below the font list.
By the way, you’ll have to forgive the misspelled font names (“Hellow” and “Spagheti”), but this is very a common problem now with so many new font designers in southeast Asia who have a poor command of English. The market is absolutely flooded with ridiculous typos and insane spelling … but the actual font descriptions are even worse! For instance, here’s the description of “Castela” copied from iFonts.xyz …
Let us introduce you to Castela, is script fonts that created with a fluffy looks, this fonts inspired by both modern and vintaging package. Castela is created carefully to have a look that make you fell something.
I have artwork completed for more than 50 new greeting card designs ready to upload to The Howdygram Store on Zazzle.com and finally started making progress yesterday. Here are four of my latest designs for your possible interest …
FYI, you should sign up for Zazzle.com’s promtional emails so you’ll know when their products go on sale. (Scroll to the bottom of their home page to sign up.) For example, at least once a month greeting cards are discounted to 50% off for a couple of days, and as we get closer to the holidays they’ll even be discounted up to 75% off … and that’s the perfect time to buy cards from The Howdygram Store REALLY CHEAP. Holy crap.
It’s Wednesday morning now, 4:45 a.m., and I think I’ll enjoy some quiet time with one or more of my favorite solo activities: 1) looking at articles and photos on The Royal Family’s official website; 2) watching “Bar Rescue” reruns or maybe an old movie; 3) falling asleep; and 4) I can’t think of anything else.
In the meantime, thank you for reading this.
