Donald Trump is a fraud, a chiseler, a coward, a clown, a freak of nature and an asshole.

Shalom, hi-de-ho and happy Friday morning to you and yours! It’s 7:19 a.m. and Sam is on his way to Love Field. He’s flying to Phoenix this morning to spend a couple of days with his younger brother David and his family ... three really nice people with a nice dog and a nice house in Scottsdale. In case you’re interested (and even if you’re not) here’s a screen shot of our current weather from The teeny red star in the center denotes Howdygram headquarters.
Incidentally, there’s a lot of rain in the area (duh) and a lot more to come — with occasional THUNDERSTORMS — nearly all day long. Areas of Texas just south of us are having a huge emergency flood hoo-hah that involves Einsteins standing on top of cars because they thought Toyotas could float across a highway that’s 15 under water. It never fails.

You betcha, everybody ... I’ve got a few more WONDERFUL FREE FONTS for you today! “Peanut Pro” comes with six different styles and “Christmas Dingbats” is actually two separate fonts packed with holiday illustrations. (A few of them are crappy but most are adorable.) Download links are included below.

As long as I’m showing off my new fonts I might as well show you the new digital backgrounds that I bought this morning on Etsy ... a collection of 12 gorgeous, ornate metal textures plus 12 “vintage” patriotic textures with stripes, stars and antique papers. These are all beyond fabulous and I can’t wait to use them. Woo hoo!

While speaking to reporters in North Dakota the blowhard Manhattan orangutan (Donald Trump) announced that Bernie Sanders would have to pay big bucks to debate him. Trump remarked that he would require at least $10 million from Sanders to participate in a charity debate. Trump said:

Oh, I’d love to debate Bernie. He’s a dream. Well, I said, and I said last night on Jimmy’s show, it was a question that was posed, and I said I’d love to debate him, but I’d want a lot of money to be put up for charity, so what we’ll do is if we can raise maybe for women’s health issues or something if we can raise $10 or $15 million for charity, which would be a very appropriate amount. I understand the television business very well. It would get very high ratings. It should be in a big arena somewhere, and we could have a lot of fun with it. I’d love to debate Bernie. Except he’s gonna lose!
See, here’s the problem with this whole ridiculous premise. If it’s a “charity” debate Trump can turn it into entertainment television by not following any debate rules, talking on top of Sanders, refusing to answer questions he doesn’t like, avoiding the issues, mugging for the camera, pandering to the crowd, packing the audience with his usual squad of brownshirts and screaming bullies ... while squeezing Sanders’ campaign for money it can’t afford to squander on bullshit like THIS. In reality, though, Trump knows that Sanders doesn’t have $10 million because the campaign began May with $5.8 million and is dealing with a cash crunch. Trump continues to prove that he’s a fraud, a chiseler, a coward, a clown, a freak of nature and an asshole.

Thank you for putting up with me.
