I’ve been dicking around with the Howdygram again.

It’s a beautiful Friday morning here at Howdygram headquarters, and Sam just unpacked the new LED desk lamp that I ordered from Amazon. IT’S GORGEOUS. For your possible interest here’s a photo with all of the best features labeled with neat little arrows. Sam said he’d plug it in for me next time I’m away from my desk, such as when I take my shower or a nap. Believe it or not, I actually plan to do BOTH within the next half hour or so!
Just in case you give a crap, I’m experimenting right now with a few text control methods for my Howdygram posts. Right now I’ve got it set to “fully justified,” which eliminates uneven right margins and gives my paragraphs a nice, orderly appearance. Please let me know what you think, okay? (To tell you the truth, the way my posts looked before I started farting around was fine with me, too.) Click here to share your opinion ... even though it probably won’t change anything. Thank you, I think.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House deputy press secretary, this week proved herself to be as fucking useless as her boss, press secretary Sean Spicer. On Wednesday and Thursday Sanders was pressed relentlessly with a barrage of questions about Donald Trump’s ongoing obstruction of justice and unexpected termination of FBI director James Comey. She compounded lie after lie after lie, starting with: 1) the President was simply following the advice of Assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein; 2) the President had no choice because Comey had committed so many “atrocities” against Hillary Clinton just before the election last year; 3) the President thought Comey was a “grandstander” and a “showboat” who deserved to get fired; and 4) she personally spoke to “countless” FBI officials and employees since Comey’s firing and all of them support the President’s decision.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders is completely full of shit ... and she’s our latest Putz of the Week!

Thought you might appreciate another small herd of useful FREE FONTS today ... a pretty script, an interesting display font (“Beily”) in six styles with assorted stacked letter combinations, and a couple of traditional serif (“Clearface”) and sans serif (“Gempire”) fonts. I actually love ALL of them. Seriously! Download links will appear after the graphic. Tell your friends, okay?

I think I’ll mosey into the family room now and watch some terrific Margaret Rutherford movies with Sam. Yesterday I recorded Trouble in Store (1953) with Norman Wisdom, Murder Ahoy (1964) with Lionel Jeffries, and Miranda (1948) and Mad About Men (1954), both with Glynis Johns as a mermaid. The fact that I finally have all four of these stored on my DVR is really fantastic because I’m a huge fan of Margaret Rutherford. I already have The V.I.P.s (1963), where she co-stars with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

FYI, coming up on TCM in June are two of my all-time favorites ... Pollyanna (1960) with Hayley Mills and I Know Where I’m Going (1945) with Wendy Hiller. This makes me so fucking happy I’d do a cartwheel if I wasn’t a handicapped old lady with really shitty knees.
Thank you, as always, for reading this!
