I’ve got a couple of major bacterial infections running rampant in my body.

Yo, everybody. I’m taking a much-needed break from creating my latest collection of custom iPhone cases … 84 exciting brand new designs that I’ve been uploading to The Howdygram Store’s marketplace on Zazzle.com since 5 a.m. yesterday. I think my brain is ready to explode, although it actually feels good to be productive again after several weeks of inactivity. And once again I’ve also been under the weather.

Very under the weather.

Aside from the usual body aches, severe pain in my knees and feet, the inability to stand up or walk, and a long list of chronic diseases, including kidney disease, congestive heart failure, diabetes, advanced diabetic neuropathy, high blood pressure, atrial fibrillation, and occcasional hangnails, I’ve also got a couple of major bacterial infections running rampant in my body. The first is a years-long urinary tract infection that nobody’s been able to cure because I’m resistant to antibiotics, and the second is cellulitis in my left leg, which has “bloomed” to the degree that the leg has become red, hot to the touch and, most recently, swollen. (Antibiotics won’t work on my leg, either.)

As you might expect, the infections are playing havoc with my overall health. I run occasional high fevers that spike up and down, I feel miserable, shitty, achy and generally “droopy.” For the last couple of weeks I haven’t even felt like writing Howdgram posts or designing anything for my store on Zazzle. Yesterday it all came to a peak. When I woke up from a 10-hour nap I told Sam it felt like somebody dropped an anvil on my body because I couldn’t move my arms or legs. When he checked my blood pressure, it was 70/44. Holy crap, right?

Before I get started on other subjects I’d like to show off a few of The Howdygram Store’s aforementioned new iPhone cases. Each of these designs represents a larger collection (multiple colors and/or styles). For instance …
  1. CRAYON DOODLES AND SCRIBBLES. Three designs.
  2. SOFT ABSTRACT FLORALS. Three designs.
  3. MIDNIGHT GARDEN FLORALS. Four designs in pink and teal.
  4. BRONZE AND GOLD FOIL HERALDIC PATTERNS. Three designs.
  5. SPRINGTIME FLORALS. Ten colorful patterns.
  6. ROSE GOLD FOIL ART DECO PATTERNS. Five designs.
  7. GOLD FOIL DIAGONAL STRIPES. On 16 different solid colors.
  8. MIDNIGHT BLUE UNDERSEA GLITTER MERMAID PATTERNS. Five designs.
  9. EMERALD GREEN UNDERSEA GLITTER MERMAID PATTERNS. Five designs.

I’m also working on a new 24K Collection (pictured below). These are all stunning, sparkly and bursting with “bling” … plus intense foil colors and a variety of options for personalization. Here they are …
  1. MINIATURE BLACK SQUARES ON PEACH FOIL. Fifteen colors available.
  2. BLACK TIGER STRIPES ON GOLD FOILCircled monogram in 19 foil colors.
  3. ROYAL BLUE FOIL STRIPES ON GOLD. Twelve color options.
  4. GOLD FOIL-TRIMMED PASTEL STRIPES. Four color options.
  5. BLACK QUATREFOIL PATTERN ON GOLD FOIL. Twenty foil accent color options.

Incidentally, if any of y’all want an iPhone case designed especially for you, please shoot me an email and tell me what you’re looking for. If it’s something I can do, I’ll do it!

I’ve rustled up another good-lookin’ herd of free fonts for you! We’ve got some fabulous brush scripts (“Nona-Diana,” “Mansions,” “Clara Sydney”), a monoline script (“Arthington”), display fonts (“Cherrytha,” “Roaring,” “Colores”), and three weird dingbats clipart fonts (“Silly Donkey,” “Crazy Monkey,” “The Quick Dog”). I’ll post download links after the font list in case you want any of these for your own collection. Enjoy!

I discovered this collection of 48 bright gold foils on Etsy.com a couple of days ago and decided to splurge. Only $1.99 … half price!

Actually, a few minutes ago I finished browsing around again on Etsy and there are dozens of collections like this one on sale for only 48¢ each. It can’t possibly get much cheaper than that! Therefore I just bought the following four collections. That’s a ton of creative inspiration for a grand total of $1.92. Jesus!

And now it’s time to request a mid-evening diaper change — which involves waking Sam from his after-dinner nap — and catch up with today’s episode of “The People’s Court.”

Please remember the Alamo, becauset gets awfully lonely in San Antonio. Thank you for reading this.
