Know what? The quarantine has been great for business!

I’m having a conundrum this morning. It’s a few minutes before 7 a.m. and my hands are freezing. They should be tucked underneath my blanket … except I also feel like typing, so this definitely sucks. I suppose I’ll just keep plugging away until I figure out what I want more … warm hands or a Howdygram post! (Right now the Howdygram post is winning.)

I have a pleasant little herd of fonts for you this morning … some scripts, a few display fonts, a layered font that also happens to be part of a tiny bundle, i.e., “America” and “Hangberd,” and a funny little dingbats font (“Stengkol Extras”) that’s packed with wild west ilustrations. Yee-haw!

I’ll include download links below the font list in case you want any of these for your personal collection.

Yup, I’ve got a few more backgrounds, too! I’ll get my “bling” on for sure with all these beautiful gold and silver foil collections for iPhone case designs, spiral notebook covers, padfolios and so on. Also elegant greeting cards … and all for The Howdygram Store. The quarantine has been great for business, by the way. I’m probably selling three times as much as last year, Therefore, if you don’t have anything else to do, SPEND SOME MONEY.

I’d like to showcase a few different collections of seamless patterns, too. I especially love the teeny flower and leaves, and those lumpy “random” watercolor splotches. Life is good, right? I’m planning a few new collections of throw pillows , matching bankets, nightlights and bathroom whatnots (vanity ceramics, shower curtains, bath mats, hand towels). I promise to let you know when it’s time to start shopping. Seriously.

I think I’ll begin the day with an overall health report, okay? It’s 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning and I just another whole day to terrifying unanticipated naps. So let’s get started, okay?

TERRIFYING UNANTICIPATED NAPS. These are 15+ hours at a time and scare the hell out of me. For example, I woke up about an hour ago and don’t have any recollection of Saturday at all. Sam says I conked out sometime during mid-afternoon, missed dinner and missed at least three movies that he watched. This happens, of course, because my body has been wrestling with two rather severe bacterial infections.

SEVERE BACTERIAL INFECTIONS. I’ll never get rid of either of the because I haven’t been able to take antibiotics* for a very, very long time. They are: 1) cellulitis in my left leg; and 2) a six-year-old unrinary tract infection.

I’ve been completely resistant to antibiotics for years. This was proven in 2018 when the hospice did a “culture and sensitivity” test and the answer from the lab came back: “HOLY SHIT. THIS OLD BROAD IS A FUCKING MESS.” (Or something like that.)

INFECTION SIDE EFFECTS. I occasionally run high fevers with chills, my appetite disappears, and — saving he worst for last — I get miserably painful burning bladder spasms every time I pee. We used to assume the bladder spasms were caused by my catheter, but I haven’t been catheterized since last fall and the pains never stopped.

TREMORS. These are getting worse day by day. I can’t hold the TV remote, I constantly drop by spoon or folk (also FOOD) when I’m eating, and — horrors! — it’s almost becoming impossible to keep my hand on the mouse or position my fingers on the keboard! Frankly, today was AWFUL with tremors. I had Boom Boom Shrimp with Hokkien noodles for an early lunch, and at least half of it wound up on my neck.* Gooey, sloppy, sauced-up spagetti. BLECCH!

Most of you probably know that I’m bedridden … but you should also know that I eat in a semi-reclining 30° position. I can’t sit up. The most difficult thing to eat is SOUP (don’t ask) and throwing up is a total nightmare. Thank you.

I’m receiving a warning message from Google that this page is using too much energy and I should close it ASAP before all hell breaks loose. That sounds like a good idea, frankly, because I’ve run out of interesting things to write about, anyway. Thank you reading this, and stay away from germs!
