Yes, you can make good homemade potato salad with canned diced potatoes!

Yo, everybody! Sam is at Popeye’s picking up a sack of spicy poultry and assorted “sides” for dinner tonight … to go along with the bowl of MARCY’S WORLD-FAMOUS POTATO SALAD that I made a few minutes ago. Yes, I actually made potato salad today ... although I didn’t boil, peel and dice any actual raw potatoes because I haven’t been able to stand up in the kitchen — due to mobility issues — for at least five years, and this isn’t something I’d ever get Sam to do. Therefore we’re trying my recipe today with canned diced potatoes from Wal-Mart and fresh celery, bell pepper, red onion and four hard-boiled eggs that I mooshed carefully at my desk in the study. To all this we’ll add my Award-Winning Potato Salad Dressing, which consists of nice mayo, juice from a jar of green olives and a hefty dash of Lawry’s salt. Stay tuned for a candid and impartial food review!

This might be my biggest, juiciest font post EVER. I’ve got a million of them for you today, mostly because it’s been a lot of days since I’ve visited the Howdygram (reasons to follow) and I’ve been accumulating a big steaming pile for you in the meantime. (Don’t get hysterical. I’m referring to fonts.)

So … here we go! This first batch of free fonts includes four excellent scripts, lots of hand-drawn whatnots and some impressive display fonts such as “Comictastic,” “Gab,” “Kicking Horse,” Northern Highway” and “Quick and Dirty.” Download links appear after the graphic. FYI, you’ll have to request a number of these fonts directly from yours truly via email.

This next batch of free fonts includes some pleasant display faces — “Saker Sans Light,” “Saker Sans Bold,” “Dark & Black” and “Ooh Lala” — some assorted interesting scripts such as “Densfort” and “Freeday Script,” and hand-drawn fonts like “Blacked” and “Olive.” “Freeday Script” is available from me via email. I’ll include download links for the rest of these fonts below the graphic. Enjoy!

Because inquiring minds wants to know, here’s a list of reasons why I haven’t written a Howdygram post for such a long time. You might want to grab a box of kleenex.

I’VE BEEN UNDER THE WEATHER. This includes the entire littany of my chronic pain issues, such as heel pain, toe pain, knee pain, hand cramps, moderate crabbiness and nodding off during good movies. (I slept through Soylent Green three times on Friday. For some reason I can’t get past the part where Thorn brings home a cake of soap and a raw skirt steak.)

I’VE BEEN DEVELOPING MORE NEW PRODUCTS FOR THE HOWDYGRAM STORE. This is fucking incredible, people! I’ve been working awfully damn hard to round out all the thrilling products in The Howdygram Store’s new Around the House category … this time it’s THROW PILLOWS! They’re really nice ones in your choice of 100% cotton or polyester knit with zipper covers. I’m designing seven different colorways with reverse patterns on the opposite side. Also a dozen different abstract floral prints that match other products in my Around the House category and three baroque tapestry patterns.
And here’s a sample of a reversible pillow collection in China blue and taupe. There will be at least four additional reversing patterns and six more color options!

And now I have to get back to my throw pillows, because I’ve got at least another 50 designs to upload to my image gallery on Zazzle’s website. It’s slow and it’s a lot of work … but it’s becoming mighty lucrative. Lucrative is good.

Thank you for reading this.
